What a dynamic duo these two were. An absolutely amazing night of blues performed to a packed audience. The friendship and musical connection of Webb and Timms shone through the whole evening. There was no warming up of the crowd necessary, as soon as Webb started to sing the crowd was hooked. Both guys sang and played amazing guitar while Timms also added drums throughout the night.
Classic blues number by the greats and some not so well known numbers made for an absolutely brilliant and relaxed night of blues. Even if blues was not your favourite genre of music you would be blown away by the musicianship of this duo. For me though, the highlight was when Mojo’s vocals were in full flight-husky, smooth and soulful his pipes are really in a class of their own and the way he can throw his voice Louis Jordan style to hit some ridiculously high notes was something to behold-
Alleluheh! A Blues Festival led by these two would go down a treat!
