OZ MANOUCHE 2020
26th to 29th November
Dear Patrons,
It is with great regret that we need to raise ticket prices for the OzManouche Festival by $4 across the range.
Restricted numbers, additional costs associated with Covid-19 and a reduction in the JobKeeper support make this necessary.
If we don’t react to the changing circumstances, The Jazz Club simply won’t be around next year.
We certainly do not intend to leave pricing at increased levels upon return to normal and sustainable operation of the Club

SATURDAY – 28th NOVEMBER
Shenzo Gregorio Quartet
Doors Open 6.30pm to 11pm – Music 7.30pm – 10pm
Shenzo Gregorio brings a worldly inventiveness to the art of improvising on the violin. Having first picked up the violin at age four with an upbringing steeped in Classical music, Shenzo has gone on to perform within the musical traditions of Flamenco, Gypsy Jazz, Bluegrass, Indian, Rock, Country, Blues and popular styles for the last 23 years. Though not fully emersed in any one these particular musical traditions has allowed Shenzo the freedom to be influenced by all of them; you could say he’s a real country musician or a musician for all countries.
Shenzo Gregorio (violin/guitar), john Reeves (accordion), Camaron De La Vega (guitar), Peter Walters (bass).
SUNDAY – 29th NOVEMBER
Run Rabbit
Doors Open 2.30pm to 7pm – Music 3.30pm – 6pm
Digging back into the forgotten gems, corkscrew melodies and topsy stomps of early jazz, Run Rabbit combine the spirited violin and the playful guitars; this acoustic trio mischievously arranges songs with a fresh approach to the style while tipping their hats to the original architects Django Reinhardt and Louis Armstrong. Featuring members of prominent gypsy jazz bands, Swing Dynamique and Cigany Weaver, welcome Brisbane’s newest super group.
Jan Van Dijk (violin), Conor McDonald (guitar), Rory Dollard (guitar)
