BRISBANE JAZZ CLUB: Business Hours – Tues, Wed, Fri – 9-3PM All phone and email booking enquiries are answered within 24 – 48hrs. We are not open during the weekend daytime. We also do not answer the phones during the first 1-1.5hours of opening our doors at night. Please read our policies below. DRESS STANDARD: ‘Smart Casual’ Club Management reserves the right to refuse entry to patrons who are considered to be inappropriately dressed.
• Patrons are requested to comply with dress standards when visiting the BJC.
• Men will be expected to wear ankle-length long trousers, shirts, and covered-inshoes or sandals.
• Patrons wearing shorts, sports shoes, thongs or jandals may be refused entry.
• Sportswear beachwear and work-wear are considered inappropriate clothing.
• Casual wear is acceptable for day time performances
FORGOTTEN PASSWORDS : If you have forgotten your password we cannot retrieve it for you. If you notify the office by email we can re-set it with a generic word then once you are in you can personalise it again.

INTERNET BOOKING There is a limit of eight (8) tickets per performance per person (regardless of the number of transactions). This includes orders associated with the same name, email address, billing address, credit card number or other information. Ticket purchases are closely monitored and any tickets purchased above the limit will be voided without further notice. SUNJAVA In order to function properly, our online booking system requires Java, which can be downloaded from the SunJava website. INSIDE/OUTSIDE BOOKINGS: Please note that the ‘outside area’ denoted on the booking map is located outside the main Club building . Only the back of the stage is visible from this deck area, there are speakers which relay the music – and the City views are spectacular.
GROUP BOOKINGS All persons booked in a group booking (4 or more persons) must be present before admittance to the Club – Each person must have their own ticket. No ticket = No admittance to the Club. E-tickets on mobiles are acceptable.

For groups larger than 8 and up to 20 are seated out on the deck. Bookings must be made through the office and the purchaser is expected to pay for all seats at the time of the reservation. Speakers have been positioned so the music is audible. Should the weather be inclement all efforts will be made to seat the group inside at the Duty Manager’s discretion and should the space be available.
For groups over 20 and up to 50 please refer to the Special Booking tab on the from page of the website. You may also contact office staff who
will answer your questions. If you are booking for the Christmas season it is best to book as early as possible.
WALK-INS ON THE NIGHT Although walk-ins are welcome, we recommend booking online because we cannot guarantee that tickets will be available at the door. However if you choose this option we recommend arriving early when the doors open to avoid disappointment!
CONCESSIONS Please be aware of our concession pricing policy. Senior cards are not acceptable as a Concession. We only accept Government issued cards.
VOLUNTEERING If you wish to volunteer for the Club either speak to one of the Duty Managers or Front of House staff on the night or simply email info@brisbanejazzclub.com.au for a form.
WHEELCHAIRS If you require wheelchair seating we have a seat at three (3) tables available to you, Tables 21, 26 and 40. Please contact us by email or phone (07 3391 2006) to make a booking. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to arrange wheelchair access for a performance.
DINNER The Story Bridge Hotel, our onsite caterers, cook the best gourmet barbeque this side of the bridge. With the freshest ingredients they whip up dishes, desserts, gluten-free, vegetarian, and cheese platters. All orders are taken in the Club and delivered to your table. Just answer yes or no to the question during the booking process. Menus are updated according to the season.
SUNDAY NIGHTS & SPECIAL EVENTS – VOUCHER INFORMATION The BJC Committee advises on any specific Sunday night, Big Band gig or advertised Special Event through the website,online booking system or colour brochure that volunteer or raffle/prize vouchers are not accepted. This will be specified in the Event information and the website. Any booking found to be using the vouchers will be cancelled. Thank you for your understanding.
BOOKING FEES: Internet bookings are free-of-charge. There is a $5 box office & telephone fee should you chose to book by email, phone or at the Club. This is a one-off fee whether you buy 1 or more tickets.
