Talkin’ Jazz is a performance based jazz program for high school students, grades 9-12, hosted by the Brisbane Jazz Club. Talkin’ Jazz is for students who have an interest in playing and studying jazz music and want to learn more about it as well as meet other like-minded musicians.
It offers fortnightly Jam sessions on Saturday mornings, that are due to start in March this year (2017 dates TBC). This year we have a couple of other exciting announcements that we’ll be making very soon.
The program is facilitated by two local jazz musicians and teachers: Dan Hirsch and Euan Cumming who this year, will be joined by some new teachers.
If you are interested in attending a Jam Session come on down to the club and try it out!
