The Brisbane Jazz Club is
superbly located and has an excellent atmosphere, making it a prime location for
BJC members to host group bookings. No other riverside venue offers such superb
views of the CBD at such a reasonable price. Make a group booking and combine
your function with one of our regular jazz nights (club open every Friday,
Saturday and Sunday). With our in-house caterer (Jennifer's Catering - 3217
3383) to suit any budget and our fully stocked bar, refreshments are well
provided for.

After speaking to Paul, you will be asked to complete either a Special Group Booking Application Form, which can then be submitted by e-mail, fax or dropped in to office. The application will be presented to the Club's management committee for approval or rejection. Once Paul has forwarded your application to the committee, a response will be forthcoming. SPECIAL GROUP BOOKINGS
Available at all club events.
Best group location is on river deck, with tables and chairs, dedicated barperson, catering with selected menu. Dance floor and live music are located inside clubhouse.
Maximum group size on club nights is 50 (Friday, Saturday nights and Sundays times vary).
We recommend bar tab and pre-paid catering arrangements with Brisbane Jazz Club caterer.
Fabulous live jazz entertainment is included and guests enjoy the true ambience of the Brisbane Jazz Club.
Can organise time to decorate before function.
Curfew times: Sun - Thurs 10pm. Fri, Sat 11pm.
$200 deposit + $50 non-refundable booking fee required to secure booking.
**SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR CHARITIES**
CONDITIONS Catering and Bar
All catering and beverages must be supplied by the Brisbane Jazz Club (bar) and Jennifer's Catering (catering). The only exception to this rule is in special occasions where a birthday cake can be brought in. Absolutely no liquor may be brought in to the Brisbane Jazz Club. We are a licensed venue.
• To promote the profile of BJC as a friendly and inclusive venue to enjoy live jazz music, group bookings are to be treated as large groups of people attending a club event and not as an exclusive function separate from club events.
• Groups are to be encouraged to be part of the club night and are not cordoned off in separate areas. There are no special seating provisions, groups can be seated inside or on the deck but are considered part of the normal club activity.
• Members of group bookings are to be made aware of the need to respect the format of club events, e.g. listen to music, minimise noise during musical sets, restrict special celebrations such as speeches, singing “Happy birthday” etc. to breaks.
• Special Group Bookings are where the client pays for all guests and has extra benefits (i.e. bar tab or extra services). A regular Group Booking of more than 20 people can be booked straight through the normal booking procedure at the club.
• Admission for group bookings is at the special rate of $10.00 per person. Other optional services are as outlined. A $200 deposit + $50 non-refundable booking fee is to be paid at least 14 days in advance to confirm bookings.
• Guest list must be forwarded to the Brisbane Jazz Club Venue Coordinator no less than 48 hrs prior to function.
• PLEASE NOTE: The Brisbane Jazz Club does not cater for children's parties. Large groups of people under eighteen are not allowed in the Club. Minors are allowed to enter the Brisbane Jazz Club only if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will remain caring for their safety for the entire night.

- Entry per person (includes live music) will be at the designated member’s rate payable on function date. $10 on normal club nights. $15-$25 on special event nights.
- Bar purchases are by pre-arranged bar tab OR pay as you go
- Special callout fee outside regular office hours (Wed-Fri 1-6pm) for decorating, pre-setup $50 per opening (+ GST)
